Weeping across empty, barren land;
stricken skies balloon shades of grey.
Billowing tears streak the earth’s face.
Scattered, broken, blazing stars of eventide…
rotund moon; a drop of burgundy blood.
Sealed fate heavens melting away;
“… sky receded as a scroll…” comes to naught.
This piece is spun from Revelations 6:14; one day a true tale. We’re alight with balloons today over at dVerse.
