Better Two

DSC02750
Grief is no friend of man…
Like wailing winter wind,
or roaring pouring rain,
thunders as tornado,
moans in the maddening heat,
scorches like noonday sun,
drapes in midnight darkness;
no brilliant sunrise nor
savory sun’s setting bliss

Grief is better with two…
words a wealth of mending
says God a healing balm.
Forget your discomfort
or busy of long day;
gladly touch a hurting one
whose pain is sad burden
much lighter not alone
“Weep with those who weep.” (Romans:15)

  1. How true this is…so much harder to go through grief alone with no one to share. Makes the pain that much greater. It is better with two…beautifully portrayed, Patricia.

  2. grief is better with two…having someone to share with…to help you walk it…it will surely come to our lives…nothing we can do to stop it…but we can walk it and not let it take us in…great scripture to go with as well..
